Taurus Array
The 'Taurus' array comprises two concentric rings of HF monopoles covering the band 1-30MHz. The system is designed to form 24 independant beams each with a nominal 15 degree beamwidth in azimuth and 60 degrees in elevation.
Similar systems have been in service with military and radio regulatory bodies for many years and there is a constant need for design upgrade to meet changing requirements for these systems.
They are large, highly-valued systems, exposed to the elements in operation, which generates the vital need for repair and maintenance. Raven Research offers the facility for design up-dates to reflect the availablilty of new materials and the obolescence of the old.
