Radio Direction Finding: Remote Control System for Radio DF
This is a software application for remote control of the Taiyo Musen DF processor (TD-L1706A) with the addition of a data collection/interface system and client/server application. The object is to read the DF bearing information for selected frequencies from the DF display interface and store the data in a database accessible by remote users over the Internet.
The system allows the user to monitor frequencies on a continuous basis from fixed receiver sites around the country, without moving from his desk.
The radio system is able to monitor RF frequency and direction of arrival (DOA) while also streaming audio data across the Internet.
