The Design and Performance of Systems Incorporating the RR1001 HF Receive Switching Matrix Unit
This article was first published in 1992 and has been reprinted in 2004. The RR1001 has mostly been replaced by the larger RR1003 in big systems but the technical discussion is still very relevant to modern systems. The RR1001 is still offered to system engineers as a basic building block in RF switching systems, now with extensions to cover LF and MF, as well as HF.[Issue:1992 - reprinted 2004]
Taurus Executive Summary
Describes the Taurus multiple beam, high frequency array (1.5-30MHz). This circular array of 24 monopoles is arranged to create a a wide aperture antenna comprising 24 beams of 15 degrees beamwidth to cover 360 degrees azimuth. It is very compact (measuring only 150m diameter) and can be used for HF communication reception or surveillance.
RR7852 Mobile RDF System
A land mobile single-channel RDF system using the Taiyo Musen EF353 type flat printed circuit DF antenna to provide a low cost, versatile and covert system for signal tracking and homing, radio direction finding and triangulation, signal intercept logging and mapping. [Issue: Dec 2002]

The Structure of Non-blocking HF Switching Matrix Systems for Radio Surveillance
The purpose of this bulletin is to explain the structure of non-blocking HF signal switching matrix systems for radio surveillance, as they grow in size and complexity from a simple 16 x 32 signal exchange unit to a large matrix system with 512 receivers or more.
