"Train Hard - Fight Easy"
NEW! - UHF SATCOM Training Simulator
Combat Net Radio Training Aid
Raven Research Ltd introduced a classroom radio training system for use with any terrestrial radio type or model. The purpose is to allow organisations to carry out operator training in a controlled environment without any risk of radiation hazard. The radio operators exercise using their standard issue radios, while the supervisor uses a PC to control the radio environment,by setting attenuation levels between individual radios. He can do this automatically, using computer generated propagation model, derived from a relief map, with individual operator positions plotted. Alternatively, the system can be operated manually.
We now follow on with a UHF Satcom simulator for use with the Harris AN/PRC-117 JTRS Software defined radios (SDR).
Using this system, great cost savings can be made and training times can be much reduced.
- Combat Net Radio Training Aid – uses standard issue radios
- Controlled Training Environment - which greatly reduces training cost
- Simultaneous Automatic Attenuation Setting for All Paths – which creates a realistic exercise
- Radiation Free Environment – which improves safety in training
- PC Controlled - means repeatable training exercises
- Use interactive 3D Terrain Maps - to suite individual customer's chosen terrain
- New UHF Satcom Training Simulators for use with Harris AN/PRC-117 JTRS Software Defined Radio (SDR)
